The Barrington Watch Winder business was launched in 2009 by Sean O’Farrell, who had been a seed investor and director at Jura Watches since 2007 — the UK’s first online authorized watch dealer. While leading a project to create a custom watch winder for Jura, O’Farrell saw the opportunity to develop a dedicated product line, which ultimately led to the formation of a separate company focused exclusively on watch winders.
