Season 1 is nearly over, and a lot of players are looking at their Mistfall Hunter Gyldenblood Money and asking the same question: what happens to it next It won't carry straight into Season 2. Your Gyldenblod and many stored items become Contribution, which is then exchanged for Gyldenblod Leaves. Those Leaves are used in the new Fateweaver Shop. The reset screen is due to appear on the season screen from October 22, 2026 at 10:00, so you can check your own position before making any big decisions.
Why the reset works this way
Mistfall Hunter is built around heading into a match, finding something valuable and getting out with it. If everyone kept a warehouse full of gear forever, those finds would start to feel less exciting. The developers considered the alternative: making good items harder to find or making extraction tougher. Instead, they chose a partial reset that gives players something back for what they've earned. Your Gyldenblod, Echoes of Fate, three types of Soul Cocoons, inventory items and warehouse contents all turn into Contribution. Combat Bags and Soulcatch Nets are included too. Pip's Pouches and Keychains also have their activation time reset.
How the exchange compares
The distinction matters when you're looking through your stash. Some things stay as they are, while others pass through the Contribution system before you can use their value again.
| Asset | Season 2 outcome |
|---|---|
| Gyldenblod and stored items | Convert into Contribution |
| Contribution | Converts into Gyldenblod Leaves |
| Fate Coins and Soul Coins | Retained |
| Contract Sigils | Convert into Faded Contract Sigils |
There's a catch with the Leaves exchange. Higher portions of your Contribution use lower rates, so a huge pile of resources won't convert as efficiently as the first portion.
What the tiers mean for your stash
More Contribution still gets you more Leaves. You don't lose the value of extra items just because you've gathered a lot, but the gap between a modest stash and an enormous one should shrink after conversion. The exact brackets and rates haven't been published in the information provided, so there's no reliable way to calculate a precise return here. Check the reset screen for your own estimate. As for the last few days of Season 1, don't feel you have to sell everything in a rush. Gyldenblod and stored items both enter the Contribution system, though their individual conversion ratios may differ.
Progress that stays with you
Your characters keep their appearance, levels, skills and talent points. Outfits and other cosmetics remain, as do Fate Coins, Soul Coins, Moonlight Nectar, Star Silver and Starsilver Spindles. Your friends, unlocked core features, Shop and Auction House stay available. The Collection Pedestal keeps its placed collectibles and upgrade progress, and your Watchtower level remains intact. Story task progress, contract reward unlocks and Pip's Gift progress carry over too. Contract Sigils become Faded Contract Sigils at a one-to-one rate. If your Slumbering Contract still has rewards you haven't claimed, it remains available.
1. Finish story tasks you're already close to completing.
2. Check your contract rewards before the season changes.
Camp buildings and competitive progress
Several camp buildings return to level one, with Contribution awarded according to their current levels. That includes the Goddess Statue, Gylden Pool, Tavern, Workshop, Scavenger Squad and Soulcatch Tree. The useful bit: rare materials you already spent on those upgrades won't need to be spent again when rebuilding the same levels. The Soulcatch Tree changes form in Season 2 and needs new materials, although Soulcatch Nets keep their core function. Your starting Path of Glory tier also depends on where you finish Season 1. Lower tiers mostly retain their progress, while higher standings are pulled closer together for the new season.
1. Check each camp building's level before the reset.
2. Keep playing Path of Glory if your current standing matters to you.
Planning around the new shop
Once Season 2 starts, the Fateweaver Shop offers Pip's Rare Pouches, a Selection Chest with Unbound Holy Collectibles, Holy Soulcatch Nets and Combat Bags. There are Season 1 keepsakes too: the Gyldjar Mistchaser's Messenger Bug Jar and the Proof of the Soul Hunt medal. If you're deciding whether to spend your remaining time earning retained currencies or collecting more items, remember that the latter go through the tiered exchange. And if you're considering whether to buy Mistfall Hunter Gyldenblood Money, weigh any Season 1 use against the fact that it won't carry over directly. Spending what you already have on runs you'll enjoy may be worthwhile, especially if you're chasing collectibles for your retained pedestal.
