Diablo 4: How Do Reliquaries Work?
The Reliquary system in Diablo 4 introduces a fresh approach to earning rewards in the game, offering a new method of progression compared to the traditional battle pass. Here's a breakdown of how it works and how you can make the most out of this system.
What Are Reliquaries in Diablo 4?
Reliquaries are essentially an overhaul of the old battle pass system, now offering rewards through categories that players can unlock using a new in-game currency, Favor Tokens. This system still provides access to cosmetic items, but the method of earning them has changed.
Cosmetic Items: These include skins, trophies, and other cosmetic rewards, similar to what was previously offered in the battle pass.
Platinum: To unlock categories and certain items within a Reliquary, players will need to spend Platinum, which is the premium currency in the game.
Bonus Items: Once all items in a particular Reliquary are unlocked, you will receive a special bonus item from that Reliquary. This bonus item does not require extra tokens to Diablo 4 Items unlock, which adds extra incentive to complete a category.
Reliquary Categories
In Season 8: Belial's Return, there are several Reliquaries available, each with different types of items:
Belial's Return - Free category with various rewards.
Weapons - 200 Platinum.
Beasts - 500 Platinum.
Armor - 800 Platinum.
If you want to unlock all available content from these Reliquaries, it will cost you 1,000 Platinum, which is equivalent to cheap Diablo IV Items the price of the Premium Battle Pass from previous seasons.
