I don't know about you however, I feel that sports events have largely gone in a vacuum from a retrospective perspective. Each now and then we see a interesting piece from a big publication, like this GQ article on NBA Street 2 back in 2023 however, it's not enough for me. I am reminded of the fantastic sports documentaries and the incredible work that has been done by outlets such as Mut 25 coins Films over the years and I'd like to see that in sports events.

I'm not expecting to see a production of the same caliber as NFL Films or anything, however, the history of this project is already beginning to accumulate. There are a variety of consoles that we can sift through in the present, and it's time to collect this information in interesting video and retrospects.

Football Matters posted part three of their series of three parts about two weeks ago. However, it popped up on my timeline around the Thanksgiving holiday. I finally got a chance to catch the show on Sunday and even though it's got the appearance of an advertisement, it's not as bad as I'd appreciate (especially the third and fourth parts) Part one is the one I've shared above since it's more similar to the content I love. The documentary focuses on exactly how and why the Madden series was created and includes interviews with those who were who were involved in the process. If you're familiar with their Madden background, it's not a lot of information but it's well-shot and well put together and production values such as those aren't available regularly within the sport game genre.

It's not only the history of how these games were made which is important also. For instance, NoClip does great work performing retrospectives while focussing on new games that are coming out. I still remember watching something like GameTrailers looking at Zelda's timeline a few years agoIt's awesome to see these guys working on their own within the Easy Allies umbrella by the way. It's because a lot of the content is part of a longer stretch in our daily lives. I've played Zelda games for more than 20 years as well as for buy madden coins.
