Jambhala, also known as Kubera, is revered as the god of wealth in Tibetan Buddhism. He is believed to be an emanation of Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig), the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Jambhala sits majestically on a lotus, holding the mongoose Nehulay, which continuously spews precious jewels and treasures. This symbol represents Jambhala’s power to grant wealth, fulfill wishes, and eliminate poverty across the six realms of existence. In addition to wealth, he promotes virtues such as wisdom, compassion, and long life.
